It’s time to take Champagne off the vaulted altar where we currently place it.

Pandemics tend to profoundly change cultural and social habits which include how we think about celebrating special events or staying present for moments we share with others.

The next Avid Vines Virtual Champagne Tasting & Cave Tour on September 26, 2020, 3pm CT/4pm ET will demonstrate how we enjoy organic, sustainable champagne more than once or twice a year.  We believe special events are not the occasion to pair champagne, YOU are the occasion.

Register, and we’ll send you the information you need to order the featured owner-grower bubbles along with a companion dish selected just for this occasion.

Our featured organic, sustainable champagne, André TIXIER & Fils Premier Cru Carte Or Brut, is an award winner, earning silver in the 2020 TEXSOM International Wine Awards and the 2016 Decanter World Wine Awards. We think of it as champagne savasana: yoga in a bottle delivering balance and presence.

Once you pop the cork, you can sit back and relax while hearing from an exciting collection of guests who will help you get the most out of your experience:

  • David Aferiat (@avid_vines), Owner, Avid Vines, Atlanta, GA, is passionate about food and wine and making it part of a healthy lifestyle. He has spent his entire life between two cultures and countries – the U.S. and France – and that’s helped him foster relationships and build the pipeline from the vineyard to the glass.

  • Chef Kyle Campis has created a wow dish to complement André TIXIER & Fils Premier Cru Carte Or Brut Champagne. It’s a lip-smacking chicken liver mousse covered with a strawberry gelee. Register for the event, and we’ll send you the recipe. Or, if you are in Atlanta, place an order and pick it up along with your champagne.

  • Samara Kaufman (@cinagrosomm) of Cinagro Wine Experience began her love affair with wine when she found a 40-year-old vine of Zinfandel crawling in her backyard when she was in college.  As a sommelier with a focus on organic, bio-dynamic and sustainable wines, she offers fun, personalized, fine wine experiences.

During the tasting, you’ll also get a look at the harvest through a virtual tour of the vineyard, and you’ll see the caves where the grapes turn into liquid gold and rest until they are transported in chilled containers to the United States.

Avid Vines created FREE virtual champagne tasting experiences to bring joy and clean, organic champagne to the world during these crazy times.  We invite you to prioritize yourself and prepare for an afternoon of unique flavors paired to help you stay present while we share the story of what makes this champagne so special.  We promise it will make you savor every sip and, quite simply, celebrate a better way to champagne.
